this is because of presence of different elements in the different regions of the world .like the geographical conditions varied from place to place which results in presence of different minerals .

Because minerals are found in different regions of the world and are formed in the earth's crust after million of years.Hence the duration of the formation of minerals also leads to different(varied) forms of  minerals.Also these varied forms exists because of the physical and chemical conditions under which they are formed.
