It was created in Switzerland.

A miniature Big Bang was created at the Large Hadron Collider. The particle accelerator at the CERN laboratory smashed lead atoms to produce temperatures which were a million times hotter than those found at the heart of the sun.

The atom smasher has a 16.8 mile tunnel. There are six ultra-sophisticated detectors around the LHC. They record how particles behave after being smashed and transmit the data for analysis to the laboratories at CERN and other research centres.

Hello friend,

The mini big band is created by the partical accelerator which bombarded the lead atoms at the a temperature that was even greater than what is found at the heart of the sun.

This small bang took place in the CERN laboratory which is a European organization located near Geneva, Switzerland. This is a nuclear research center and which also hosts small museums for the science Globe.

Thanks for asking.
