It the story, 'Kabuliwalla' , Mini is a small girl of 5 years. she has a very talkative nature and is impatient. she cannot sit still even for a little moment and talks till she goes to sleep at night. she took only a year to learn talking. Her relationship with Kabuli is a sweet yet unatural one. It was like a friendship between 2 friends with an immense age gap. Mini was a girl who loved dried fruits and Kabuli was successful a soft corner in her heart by giving her dried fruits. Their relationship was a father-daughter one with Kabuli imagining Mini as his daughter who was in Kabul, Afghanistan. Mini and Kabuli had a few rigid jokes. In one, Mini used to ask Kabuli what was in his bag and Kabuli used to say that there was an elephant in it. But, soon a tragedy happened and Kabuli was taken to jail. Mini forgot about him and made friends wait others. This behaviour of Mini is considered very shameful in the story as she forgot about a her good friend, Kabuli.
