CAUSE ==> Testicular pain can have causes that aren't due to underlying disease. Examples include trauma, tight pants or underwear, jogging, cycling or decreased blood flow to the testicles from prolonged sexual arousal.



 TREATMENT==> Wearing an athletic supporter may help to reduce pain. Taking pain medication such as ibuprofen or paracetamol may also help.  


WHEN TO SEE THE DOCTOR==> Make an appointment to see a doctor if you:

•Have mild pain lasting longer than a few days

•Find a lump or swelling in or around a testicle

See a doctor immediately if you:

•Develop sudden, severe testicle pain

•Have redness or swelling of the testicle

•Get a fever or chills

•Notice blood in your urine

Epididymitis

Inflammation of the tube at the back of the testicle that stores and carries sperm.

Symptoms may include

Testicle pain

Painful ejaculation

Discharge from penis  


Hernia

A bulging of an organ or tissue through an abnormal opening.
