After loads of boiling, bubbling and blending in the concocting room, Mr Wonka created one little cupful of slick dark fluid. He named it Vita-Wonk and it made people get older. The chapter entails the series of events that happened before Mr Wonka could finally invent Vita-Wonk which can make a person older.
Mr Wonka begins by asking himself two questions. They are:

The first moment in which the Vita-Wonka was initiated is when the twenty-year-old volunteer swallowed four drops of this new invention. He began wrinkling and shrivelling up all over. He started wrinkling and shrinking up all over. His hair began dropping off and his teeth began dropping out. Prior to Mr Wonka knowing it, the volunteer had unexpectedly become an elderly person of 75. Mr Willy Wonka created Vite-Wonk at first, which makes individuals more youthful. Yet, this Vite-Wonk was too solid and some people began vanishing as their age got minus.
