Therefore, Mira’s present age = 3y
3 years ago : Shilpa’s age = y - 3 which according to the question equals X
Hence, if y - 3 = X, then y = X + 3
And therefore Miras present age = 3y which equals 3(X+3) = 3x+9.

So, present age of Mira = x + 3 years
Mira present age is thrice of Shilpa 
Mira's present age = 3(x + 3)
                                = 3x + 9 years
