Answer: 36 cm

Explanation: Focal length of the mirror = 18cm

as the image is placed at 36cm which is =2*focal length

thus we can say that the object is placed at center of the curvature

In the case of a concave mirror when object is placed at centre of curvature image is formed at the center of curvature

thus the image distance = 36cm
