Miss Guha's class has greater ratio of adults to kids

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

Miss Guha's class had 27 adults and 63 kids on the field trip

Miss Milly's class had 20 adults and 70 kids on field trip

To find out:

Whose class had a greater ratio of adults to kids

Solution:

The ratio of adults to kids in Miss Guha's class

=\frac{27}{63}

=\frac{3}{7}

The ratio of adults to kids in Miss Milly's class

=\frac{20}{70}

=\frac{2}{7}

Now if we compare both  the fractions

Since denominators are same, we can directly compare the numerators

Here,

3>2

\implies \frac{3}{7}>\frac{2}{7}

Therefore, Miss Guha's class has greater ratio of adults to kids

Hope this answer is helpful.
