1.Schrodinger's wave equation explains the probability of finding electron considering them both as a wave and a particle. Hence all the graphs of this wave equation have probability on the y axis and orbitals on the x axis. This theory works in association with Heisenberg's uncertainty principle where location of an electron is just a probability.
2. There are 4 quantum numbers
a) principle quantum number(n) it gives an idea if the shell in which an electron might be present
b) orbital quantum number (l) it gives an idea of the ORBITAL in which electron might be present
c) magnetic quantum number(m) it gives an idea of the orientation of the electron wave
d) spin quantum number(s) it gives an idea if the spin of the electron (clockwise or anticlockwise)
