Miss. Sullivan was the one of the greatest teacher of Helen Keller. She always help Helen in her times of need. She was arranged for Helen Keller, as she knew very well how to treat children like Helen, because she was herself paritially sighted.

On her first day, with Helen Keller. She gave her a doll. After playing little with the doll. She spelled on her hand the word doll like d-o-l-l. At first Helen was unable to understand what she was telling her. But after sometimes Helen start understanding what she was saying and what she means.

She taught her by spelling words on her hand. Sometimes she gave her beads of different letters. By arranging that beads she learn new words.

Helen loves the nature most. So, Miss Sullivan take her outside. So, that she can study easily. Because of Miss Sullivan; Helen learns how to speak and study. She taught Helen not as an adult, but she taught her like she is also a child.

Miss. Sullivan is the light house in Helen's dark world who take her from darkness to light. Helen loves everyone in her family but her special affection towards her teacher Miss Sullivan. Due to this Miss. Sullivan plays a very important role in Helen's life.
