Let consider the missing number is  X

Here we can notice that the difference of consecutive terms of given series: 7, 9, 13, X , 37,… forms a G.P.: 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, ….. as follows

9−7=2

13−9=4

X−13=8

∴X=13 + 8 = 21

37−21=16

(9+ 4 =13

13 + 8 =21

21+ 16 =37)
