Heya HERE is your answer

No India cannot afford it because we Indians do not give importance to the scientist. If suppose India would find a way to go to Mars but they will not go because they don't want to invest such a huge amount of money. But other countries give importance to the scientist than India. Whenever any foreign scientist discover any thing than they spread that news to whole world but our country is not like that. Foreign scientists like Albert Einstein, Stephen Hawking etc. are famous in the whole world but what about our scientists. So with I want to say that Indian willn't afford it

HOPE IT helps you

Mission to Mars, Should India afford it ?

Well, according to me India shouldn't afford it. As we all are well familiar with the current economic situation of India. Indian economy has been a great thing to discuss on.

We all are well known with the problems India is facing. For example, corruption, poverty, etc. And in such a economic problem the expenditure for Mars would be expensive.

As the money which will be used there can be utilized for country's development. The money shouldn't be wasted and as we all know that the programs may not be successful.

In this case, the whole money will get dumped and at last we will have nothing with us. Whereas utilising the money for country development can be useful. As such it'll have a positive result only.

And also, other countries are economically well countries but somewhere India lacks. So in this case, unnecessary expenditure where we are not sure for the result shouldn't be invested.
