Explanation:

Fog is formed in winter due to excessive water vapor in the air. The vapor appears above the ground. In the winter season, the temperature comes down in the night and the water vapor turns into the water droplets and as a resukt the fog forms. The fog becomes freezed on the rodasides and makes it difficult to pass through.  ​
