The funniest incident that had happened to me...
I had gone to the school thinking that it was a normal Monday.
But wonder of wonders , there were more plans and surprises coming ahead of me .....
I went by cycle to my school, which is about 1km away from my house.
I went to the front of my school, but surprisingly , the security guard was not there and the gate was closed . I opened the gate and went inside.
The school was quiet.
A bit too quiet .
It was very strangely quiet.
I was surprised. Maybe , I am a bit too early?? I thought.
I went in and sat in my classroom.
No noise at all. No one in the hallway , no Teachers .
This is strange.
I thought.
I stayed there for about one hour.
Then, the bell rang . Still no one.
Then, I heard the classroom Door open.
It was the Cleaner.
His face was completely shocked and stunned.
What are you doing here ?! He asked me .
I ...have...come...here...for...class....I stuttered, completely shocked.
What !? the cleaner said . Don't you know today is a holiday ??
What !!A holiday ?
I was speechless....
I stayed there for a few minutes.
Then, slowly I took my things to leave the classroom.
Suddenly, everything that just happened started to make sense.
No wonder it was so awkwardly quiet in here !!
I rode back home on my cycle, too shocked to think about anything.
When , I was back home, My mother rushed to me and said,
I am so sorry dear....
Just 5 minutes after you left , I was checking my mail and I saw that today was a holiday due to The Onam festival.
I am so sorry I made this mistake , my dear....
Then suddenly,
I started laughing....
I laughed so hard that my face turned red.
My mom laughed with me too...
And to this day, I still remember this funny incident that happened to me .
