Mistletoe (Viscum album) grows on trees. It sends its roots into the tree and uses the nutrients that could otherwise be used by the tree. If mistletoe benefits from the relationship and the tree is harmed, explain which type of symbiosis the mistletoe and trees exemplify.

parasitic as the tree is not benefited but harmed. it is not a symbiotic realtionship
