mitali=

he ran twice around the perimeter of a square

2*4s

2*4s(70)

2*280

560

noori=

she ran twice around the rectangular felid

2*2(l+b)

2*2(50+80)

2*2(130)

2*260

520

time to diffrence between them

= > 560-520

= > 40

Before, finding the answer. Let's find out on how we can find the answer.

  • First, we must find the perimeter of Rectangular Field by using the formula of

 \boxed{ \sf Perimeter  \: of \:  Rectangle = (2 \times l) + (2 \times b) }

  • Next, we must find the perimeter of Square Field by using the formula of

 \boxed { \sf \: Perimeter \:  of \:  Square = 4 \times a }

  • Then, we must multiply into 2 as the both of them has gone 2 rounds.
  • At last, we must subtract the distance of Rectangular Field and Square Field to find the difference.

Given :

  • Length & Breadth = 80m and 50m
  • Side of Square = 70 m

To find :

  • Difference of distance covered by Mitali and Noori

Solution :

Perimeter of Rectangle = (2 × l) + (2 × b)

= (2 × 80) + (2 × 50)

= 160 + 100 m

= 260 m

Two Rounds = 260 × 2

= 520 m

Hence, the Perimeter of Rectangle is 260 m.

----------

Perimeter of Square = 4 × a

= 4 × 70 m

= 280 m

Two Rounds = 280 × 2 m

= 560 m

Hence, the Perimeter of Square is 560 m.

----------

Difference = 560 - 520 m

= 40 m

Hence, the difference is 40 m.
