Solution:

The total length of the rope = \frac{15}{16} \:m

The no. of pieces of rope cut by Mitu = 3

The length of each of the cut pieces = \frac{1}{4} \:m

∴ The total length of 3 cut pieces of the rope is,

= \frac{1}{4} + \frac{1}{4} + \frac{1}{4}

= \frac{1+1+1}{4}

= \frac{3}{4}\: m

Now,

The length of the remaining rope is,

= [Total length of rope] - [Total length of 3 pieces]

= \frac{15}{16} - \frac{3}{4}

= \frac{15- 12}{16}

= \bold{\frac{3}{16} \:m}

Thus, the length of the rope left is → \underline{\bold{\frac{3}{16} \:m}}.
