a. dry ice get sublimate means direct conversion of solid to gas and gas to solid without going into liquid state. and dry ice is solid CO2.
b. if normal ice had kept instead of dry ice then after sometime normal ice get converted to liquid water and that water will react with marble powder to form calcium hydroxide and carbon dioxide
