mixing of iron filling with sulphur is a physical change because we can separate iron filling and sulphur by physical method but when they are heated they form ferrous sulphate (FeSO4) which can't be seperated by physical method so it is characterized as chemical change.
hope it helps

Answer:
on the first case its a physical change because in this mixture iron can be separated from it by magnetic separation. But in the second case when these substances are heated they form ferrous sulfate (feso4), which again can't be separated into iron and sulphur.
