A change in which there is no change in the chemical properties of substance is called a reversible change. If the change is reversible then the the original substances can be taken back from the product.

When we mix a mixture or suspension is formed. We can get the sand and water back from the mixture. It can be easily done by the process of Filtration.

Let the mixture stay still for some time
The sand will settle at the bottom a of the container.
Pass mixture through a filter paper.
The sand will not pass through the filter paper
Sand will separate from the mixture...

So we can easily separate sand and water. Hence it is a reversible change....

Hope it is helpful.... ^_^
