Mixture of sand and sulphur may best be separated by sublimation process.

- At first take the mixture of the sand and sulphur in a bowl.

- Then put that bowl on a bunsen burner by covering the top of the bowl with another bowl.

- Then heat that closed bowl by bunsen burner for sometime.

- Then remove the upper bowl,the sulphur should be sticked into the inner surface of the upper bowl due to sublimation and the in the lower bowl the sand stays as the residual of the sublimation.
