On 9th of September, a science symposium was conducted by MMD school,Nashik on the topic, ' Effect of pollution on quality of life'. The event was started by a prayer by class 12 students, followed by the felicitation of chief guest Dr Shankar, a renowned environmentalist.
The participants of the symposium delivered their thoughts on effects of pollution and ideas on prevention. The chief guest delivered an inspirational speech to the students, and encouraged all the participants to protect our planet earth.The speech is followed by an interactive session, and the event is being ended with vote of thanks by the principal.

The educational institution of MMD School, Nashik for secondary and higher secondary students, recently organized a science symposium adhering to a topic that implies the effect of pollution on our life. This event was specially arranged to generate awareness about the degrading effects of pollution.
Students of MMD School who participated in this event had a great time. The participants had to represent their models that illustrated the effects, causes, and control measures of pollution. The students also created their PowerPoint presentations. They were evaluated on their descriptive content and various strategies that they suggested to control the present situation and make the environment pollution-free. Students also planted seedlings near their school to emphasize the importance of trees. They made various awareness boards that visually ornamented the apprehensive methods. The students who bagged the first three positions were awarded medals and certificates of achievements.
The event was a grand success due to the active participation of the students. MMD School broadly contributed to the enrichment of society.
