Mobile phones are a tool to communicate, though today it has become much more than that. When it comes to children though, mobiles should not be allowed until they have passed out of school. That said, giving them the permission to use it when extremely necessary is good, as it will show them the advantages of this newfound technology. As in every aspect of their upbringing, the role of Parents is crucial here. They should know how to influence the child and restrict its use making it look bad. They should educate the child how tools like this can be beneficial and how it can become a menace too.
