The aquatic plant has two mode of nutrition heterotrophic and autotrophic.

EXPLANATION:

For the autotrophic mode of nutrition the plant make their food by the process of photosynthesis which is just like the plant that are present in the land.  

In autotrophic mode of nutrition, the plant gathers all the essential things like carbon dioxide and water from their environment which is ptresent inside the water and for heterotrophic mode of nutrition the plant just engulfs the food that is present nearby it and releases the rest of the water through its pores or gills.
