Mode of nutrition in Fungi is saprophytic or symbiotic ? Why ?

Fungi is symbiotic mode of nutrition. It is mutually dependent on algae. Algae has weak roots to absorb water. And fungi cannot prepare its own food. So it helps algae by supplying water
