  • The basil plant does not undergo special reproduction. They simply propagate from cuttings. The cutting should be between 4-6 long.
  • The size of cutting decides the height of plant. These long cuttings have more difficulty rooting and hence the resulting plant are also tall.
  • They are cut exactly at the leaf below the node. These Roots grow easily from nodes.
  • The soil moisture is checked often and the the bag is checked for Carbon dioxide rich exhalation process.
