• The place value of zero in 2011 is 0 × 100 = 0.

• The greatest possible 4-digit number formed by 3, 0, 4 and 7 is 7430 (seven thousand four hundred thirty).

• The result of 2000 × 4 (= 8000) contains 0 in each place of ones, tens & hundreds.

• Here, 4011 - 4001 = 10. Thus 4001 is 10 less then 4011.

5.

• 6 friends need 2100 rupees in total for a tour.
• If everyone contributes equally then each has to pay (2100 ÷ 6) rupees = 350 rupees.
