A numerical model for simulating the transient behaviour of multi-fluid problems defined in 2D rectangular and cylindrical geometries is presented. The model uses a piecewise linear volume tracking scheme, and maintains sharp interfaces and captures fine-scale flow phenomena such as fragmentation and coalescence.
