Answer:

given that total weight of the basket =20 kg

which is the total weight of the apples,orange,pears and pappaya

to get the weight of the pappaya

weight of pappaya =total weight of the basket -weight of other fruits

= 20-(19/4+37/6+27/5)

=20-(19*6+37*4/6*4 +27/5)

= 20-(262/24+27/5)

=20-(262*5+24*7/5*24)

=20-(1478/120)

= 20-(12.33)

=7.67 kg

\huge{\blue{\mathfrak{Answer}}}

Given:

Total amount of fruit = 20kg.

apples= 19/4 kg

oranges=37/6

pears= 27/5

papaya=?

To find:

weight of papaya.

.

Solution:

first let us find quantity of papaya.

We know that ,

sum of weight of all fruits= 20kg

so,

*weight of apple+weight of pear+oranges+papayas=20kg*

=

{\frac{19}{4}~+~{\frac{37}{6}~+~{\frac{27}{5}~+weight}}}{of~papaya~= 20kg}

(Now add apple,pear,and orange,)

(LCM of the denominator = LCM of (4,6,5)= 60)

so,

19/4×15/15+37/6×10/10+27/5×12/12+papaya=20kg.

(after solving )

285/60+370/60+324/60+ papaya= 20kg

{\pink{\frac{285+370+324}{60}+ papaya~= 20kg}}

(Add all)

979/60+ papaya= 20kg

(Now take 979/60 to right hand side)

it will be

Papaya= 20-979/60

papaya = 20/1 - 979/60

(Now find the LCM of denominator 1 and 60)

LCM = 60

Papaya = {\blue{\frac{20}{1}~×~\frac{60}{60}~-~{\frac{979}{60}}}}

(By solving)

papaya= 1200/60 - 979/60

Papaya= 221/60.

It is the required answer.

by simplifying=

papaya =3.68 kg
