Step-by-step explanation:

Given :-

Suman studies 5 2/3 hours daily he spend 2 4/5 hours for science and maths .

To find :-

How much time does he spend for other subjects?

Solution:-

Given that :

Time spending on studies daily by Suman

= 5 2/3 hours

= [(5×3)+2]/3

= (15+2)/3

= 17/3 hours

Time spending on studies by Suman daily

= 17/3 hours

Now

Time spending for Science and Maths

= 2 4/5 hours

= [(2×5)+4]/5

= (10+4)/5

= 14/5 hours

Time spending for Science and Maths

= 14/5 hours

Time spending for other subjects

= Time spending for studies - Time spending for Science and Maths

= (17/3)-(14/5)

LCM of 3 and 5 = 15

= [(17×5)-(14×3)]/15

= (85-42)/15

= 43/15

= 2 13/15 hours

Answer:-

Time spending for other subjects by Suman daily is 43/15 hours or 2 13/15 hours

Answer:

●☆Given:-

Total study time = 5 2/3hours

He spends time for maths and science is 2 4/5

●☆To prove: -

The time that he spends for other subjects =??.

●☆Proof: -

Time for other subjects = 5 2/3-2 4/5

= (5+2/3)-(2+ 4/5)

= 5+2/3-2-4/5

= (5-2)-+(2/3-4/5)

= 3+10-12/15

= 3-2/15

= 45-2/15

=43/15.

So , numerator >denominator

By converting it to mixed fraction we get

= 2 13/15 hours

Therefore the time for other 4 subjects is

=2 13/15 .

This is the correct answer for your question..
