Today, more often than not, children go to school in school buses or by cars, while their parents mostly availed of public transport when they went to school. The classrooms are today better lit and have better facilities, like teaching aids, than was available to the earlier generation when they attended school. Modern schools have better amenities like water coolers, airconditioners etc.,which were unthinkable in the schools the parents attended. Libraries are better stocked with books now, than before, and computers are available with internet facility, which were totally absent earlier; researching on any subject has consequently become much easier today than when parents of today's children studied in school.
