Methods of modern farming are :

1. Sprinkler System: In this system the water is sprinkled on the ground. No water is wasted.This system is good where the ground is uneven as other methods are not suitable.
2. Drip System: In this system drop by drop water is released from the roots. A lot of water is saved as it is not lost through evaporation and percolation. This method is useful in dry regions where the is scarcity of water.
