Answer:Yes, modern farming methods need inputs from the industries. As the HYV's used are produced there and the fertilizers, pesticides are also obtained from there. While in order to make work easy we also use machines like thresher etc. which are also manufactured in industries and this proves that industries are important or main medium of modern farming.
