Yes I agree with this statement that modern farming methods require more inputs which are manufactured in industries because modern farming methods require chemical fertilisers, pesticides and modern farm equipments. All of these are manufactured in industry.

It also involve the use of high-yielding variety seeds which help all these elements are manufactured in industries.

Whereas Traditional farming methods involve the use of relatively low-yielding seeds, which require less water for irrigation.This makes them less dependent on industrial output.

Hence, it would be right to say that modern farming methods make use of a greater number of industrial outputs as compared to traditional farming methods.
