=>> Modern farming methods require the farmers to set up tubewells for irrigation, and made use of HYV seeds, chemical fertilizers and pesticides in farming, farm machinery like tractors and threshers, which made ploughing and harvesting faster. These come at a cost higher than the traditional cost because they reward with high yields of wheat than the traditional methods which were labour intensive and applied for only subsistence. Hence the modern methods are more efficient and the value of technology is higher than the ancient technology.

they require more cash than before becoz the machines that r used are expensive than the tools that were used earlier .in old times farmers used simple tools but nowadays they have to use big machines like tractors for better quality and more quantity of products
