Modernization is referred as the conversion from a conventional, rustic, farming-based society into a secular, developed and urban society. Moreover, to modernize any society or area, it is necessary to implant industries that bring in employment for the people around and generate economy for that particular section of the world.

However, these circumstances cause distress in nature and bring in loss of multiple species in accordance with the flora and fauna. Moreover, to set-up industries and urban societies, authorities have to cut down trees because of which the habitats of several animals are also being endangered. Not only that, but the effluents coming out of the industries cause air pollution and water pollution. Again, the eradication of the nutritious layer of soil cannot be ignored. Although modernization is good for the economic growth, it can be stated that it is devastating mother nature by imposing distortion in the ecological order of this planet.
