✔Some of the modifications of stem occurring in plants are:

⭐$\huge{ Underground\: Stem}$

In some plants the stem is modified for storing food materials, where it forms underground stem which penetrates the soil and lies below it. Rhizome of Ginger, Tuber of potato, Corm of Colocasia, Bulb of Onion are some forms of underground stem.

The axillary buds present in aome plants modify to form tendrils. Tendrils are sensitive structures which acts as climbing organs of the plant.
E.g: Tendrils of grape vine, gourds, etc.
