⭐In this method, a cow is administered with hormones with FSH-like activity, to induce follicle development and superovulation.
⭐Usually normal cows yields one egg per cycle but after administration of the hormone the cow yields 6-8 eggs per cycle.
⭐The cow is then either mated with an elite bull or artificial inseminated.
⭐The fertilised eggs at 8-32 cells stage, are recovered non-surgically and tranferred to surrogate mothers.
⭐This technique is used in cattle, sheep, rabbits, buffaloes, mares, etc.
