the rupee that mohan had is

=no. of orange × price of single orange

=36 × 4.50

=162 rupees

new price of orange

=4.50+0.90

=5.40 rupees

5.40 rupees = price of 1 orange

162 rupees = price of x orange

=(162×1)/5.40

= 30 orange

so, if if price of orange is 90 paise more that is 5.40 rupees than mohan can buy 30 orange
