Given :-

  • CP of watch = Rs.600
  • Cost of Repairing = Rs.80
  • Profit % = 15% .

To Find :-

  • SP of watch ?

Solution :-

It is given That , Mohan Buy a watch for Rs.600 & Spend Rs.80 on Repairing .

So,

Total Money Mohan Spend = Buying watch + On Reparing

→ Total Money Mohan Spend = 600 + 80

→ Total Money Mohan Spend = CP = Rs.680

________________

Now, He wants to Sell it at the Profit of 15% .

So,

CP = Rs.680

→ Profit % = 15% .

→ SP = [CP * (100+Profit%)] / 100

Putting values we get :-

SP = [ 680 * (100 + 15) ] / 100

→ SP = (680 * 115) / 100

→ SP = (78200/100)

→ SP = Rs.782 (Ans.)

Hence, we can say That, To gain 15% Profit , Mohan has to sell the watch at Rs.782 .
