Step-by-step explanation:

The sides of the triangular plot are in the ratio 2:5:6.

So, let the sides of the triangle be 2x,5x and 6x.

Also , the given perimeter of the triangle is 260m.

Therefore,

2x + 5x + 6x = 260m

13x = 260m

x = 260/13

x = 20

Therefore , the sides of the triangle are 40,100 and 120.

Now ,using heron's formula :

s =  \frac{40 + 100 + 120}{2}  =   \frac{260}{2}  = 130m

Area of the triangle is:

A=

 \sqrt{s(s - a)(s - b)(s - c)}

 \sqrt{130(130 - 40)(130 - 100)}

(130-120)

 \sqrt{130 \times 90 \times 30 \times 10}

 \sqrt{3510000}
