ATQ,
Money given to son = 1/4×x = ₹ X/4
Money given to wife = X/3
Money given to daughter= X/8

Total = (6+8+3)x/24

= 17x/24

Money left = x-17x/24

= 24x-17x/24

= ₹ 7x/24
