Answer: 24.63%

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the label price be Rs 100/-

∴ The selling price will be Rs 100 - 8%= Rs 92/-

When selling price is Rs 92 the label price is Rs 100

∴ When the selling price is Rs 2200 the label price would be 100/92*2200= Rs 2391/-

On selling the machine at Rs 2200/- he makes a profit of 22.66%

∴ On selling the machine at Rs 2391/-(label price) he would make a percentage profit of    22.66/2200*2391 = 24.63%

The profit percentage would be 24.63% if the machine is sold without any discount on the labelled price.
