Answer:

270

Step-by-step explanation:

Here,a=10% R=$ 45 ,b=5%

C.P = R×100/b+a

C.P =4500/10+5

C.P =4500/15

C.P =300

S.p =300-300 ×10/100 =$270

Answer :

d) 270

Formulae used :

  • L% = L/CP × 100

  • L = CP - SP

  • SP = [(100 + G%)/100] × CP

Solution :

Let, Selling price be 'x'.

Watch was sold at 10% loss

L% = L/CP × 100

L = CP - SP

10 = (CP - x)/CP × 100

CP = 10CP - 10x

⟶ CP = 10x/9

If the watch is sold at Rs.45 more,

SP = x + 45

SP = [(100+G%)/100] × CP

⟶ x + 45 = [(100 + 5)/100] × 10x/9

x + 45 = 105/10 × x/9

(x + 45)90 = 105x

(x + 45)6 = 7x

6x + 270 = 7x

x = 270/-

Therefore,

Selling price = 270/-
