Area of the square cloth = side × side

$= 1.2 \times 1.2$

$= 1.44 {m}^{2}$

Area of the rectangular piece = 5 × Area of the square cloth

$l \times b = 5(1.44)$

$l = \frac{5 \times 1.44}{b}$

$l = \frac{5 \times 1.44}{1.5}$

$l = \frac{7.2}{1.5}$

$l = 4.8m$

Length of the rectangular piece is 4.8m.
