Given,

Mohit buys 40 chairs and 40 tables.

Cost of 1 chair = rupees 375

∴ Cost of 40 chairs = 375 × 40

                                 = 15000

Cost of 1 table = 125 rupees

∴ Cost of 40 tables = 125 × 40

                                = 5000

Thus total money spent by Mohit = Cost of 40 chairs + Cost of 40 tables

                                                        = 15000 + 5000
