Step-by-step explanation:

Mohit has enough money to buy 30 Apple at 2 Rs per apple

30*2 = 60 Rs

Mohit has 60 Rs

if the price is increased by 50 paise then each apple costs 2.5 Rs

Number of apples he can buy with 2.5 Rs

= 60/2.5

= 24

So we can buy 24 Apples

Given :

Mohit has enough money to buy - 30 apples at ₹2 per apple.

To find :

How many apples can be bought if price is increased by 50 paise per apple..

Solution :

→ Increased price of apple = ₹2 + 50 paise = ₹2.5

Number of apples that can be bought after increase in price =

\dfrac{Total\:money\:with\:Mohit}{Increased\:price\:of\:apple}

→ Total money with Mohit = 30 ×2 = ₹60

by putting the values

\implies \dfrac{60}{2.5}

\implies \dfrac{\cancel{600}}{\cancel{25}}

\purple{\leadsto 24}

→ Therefore 24 apples can be bought if the price of apple increases by 50 paise..
