hcf =6
lcm = 36

a*b = hcf*lcm

b= (hcf*lcm)/a

= 6*36/12
= 6*3
=18
second number = b=18

LET first no is X and 2nd is Y so


X*Y = LCM*HCF

12*Y=6*36
Y= 6*36/12
= 6*3
