Mohit 's age is seven years more than thrice the age of Nikum. Write an expression for Mohit’s age in terms of Nikum’s age.

Given :- Mohit's age is seven years more than thrice the age of Nikum.

To Write :- An expression for Mohit’s age in terms of Nikum’s age ?

Solution :-

Let us assume that, Nikum's age is equal to x years .

now, we have given that, Mohit 's age is seven years more than thrice the age of Nikum.

So,

→ Mohit's age = 7 years more than thrice of x .

{ Thrice is equal to three times }

→ Mohit's age = 3 times of x + 7

→ Mohit's age = 3 × x + 7

→ Mohit's age = (3x + 7) years (Ans.)

Hence, required expression for Mohit’s age in terms of Nikum’s age as x years is equal to (3x + 7) years .
