Step-by-step explanation:

Let Mohit purchase a watch be Rs.x

Then,gain on it=10% of x

=10x /100

For Karim purchase a watch at Rs10x

Then,gain on it=4% of 10x

=40x/100

For Rahim purchase a watch at Rs 40x/100

But, 40x/100=14300

=>40x=14300×100

=> x=14300×100/40

=>x=35750

Thus Mohit purchase a watch =Rs.35750
